Halloween fun

Well it's Halloween time again. Our Parent Participation groups went to a local pumpkin patch to give the parents an excuse to dress up their kids. We had a lot of fun. It's a pretty small place so the kids weren't too overwhelmed. They even had a small zoo that was just the right size for these guys.

You want us to go where?

They also had a small corn maze for the kids. Actually we went through the whole thing and it took us a while to find the exit. They did a pretty good job keeping us guessing. It was a good thing that the kids were leading or we would have really been in trouble.

What's a goat say? BAA

One of the animals that Hunter liked a lot was the goat. He's big on animal noises these days and he was having a pretty good conversation with his goat. We also spent a lot of time with the cow and her calf.

Switching drinks

It never fails that no matter what drink you give to Hunter and Zoe they always seem to switch. It's quite amusing.

Feeding Zoe

Hunter also really likes to feed people. He used to give Ranger a lot of stuff until we caught on and made that a no-no (sorry Ranger). This union works out well because Zoe likes to eat.

Fun at Grandma and Grandpa's

We went up to my parent's for a few days again. They are busy renovating their main family/TV room. It was great fun for Hunter. He had an entire room with no carpet or furniture to get in his way. His grandparents got a dump truck for the grandkids to play with while they visit. Hunter loved it of course and had a super duper time.

Cars on the coffee table

Hunter still loves to play with his matchbox cars. My parents broke out the box of cars that they had from when we were kids. We took a bunch home and Hunter plays with them all of the time. They also kept a bunch at their house for the grandkids. Hunter and his cousin Ryan both love to play with them when they visit. They've even proclaimed the coffee table as their race track/ garage.

Little Mozart

Another one of Hunter's favorite activities at Grandma and Grandpa's house is to play their organ. Doesn't he actually look like he knows what he's doing?

Halloween Night

His second Halloween has arrived and he's dressed to kill. Rob's parents sent down this dinosaur costume for Hunter this year and it worked out perfectly. He wore just the top here to Parent Participation class, it was a very warm costume. But that worked great when we went down to the local function that was outside at night. Hunter had so much fun dancing around and looking at all of the other kids. Maybe next year we'll go trick-or-treating.
